Meet The Team
Robin is the owner and founder of Dog Days Glasgow.
Emma is the manager of our doggy daycare and has been with us since day one. Emma is a great influence on our dogs with her wealth of knowledge and her understanding of the pack dynamics. As a dog trainer she loves teaching our pooches new tricks and how to play appropriately in daycare.
Emma has achieved a dog behaviour and training diploma and is also one of our canine first aiders.
With her beautiful Rottiweiler Lexi in two she definitely the boss of our daycare. When Emma and Lexi aren’t in daycare they are exploring new and exciting walks where our pooches can get their paws muddy. – “Dog Days allows me to put training tips into practice whilst working with a pack of dogs. It is challenging but rewarding when we see how much progress they make in such a short time”
Rebecca is the assistant manager of Dog Days and began working with us in April 2016. Rebecca is a natural dog handler with extensive experience walking packs of dogs and is quick to react to any situation. Rebecca is fantastic at keeping our daycare dogs entertained with lots of fun games and of course her delicious homemade treats. Rebecca is also one of our home boarders and takes a number of our daycare dogs for overnights stays. In her spare time she loves taking her wonderful dog Marley on long country walks and to the occasional dog café. Rebecca is also a qualified canine first aider. – “It is like working with your best friends”
Angie I have loved dogs pretty much since birth as I grew up with my best pal Scooby who was a Staffie and liked to sleep underneath my cot. I started working at Dog Days last year (2016), and I just love it here. There’s no better feeling than being greeted by a wagging tail and lots of love. I enjoy that every day is a challenge and that I am constantly learning more about my furry friends. When I’m not in Dog Days I work as an actress, singer and voice over artist. I have fun imagining what your dogs’ voices might sound like and if they could talk, what they might say. I recently passed my Dog first aid course too which was very interesting and makes me feel more confident about caring for the dogs in an emergency.
Sophie joined the pack in July 2017 after completing an intensive 13 week placement at the centre. Sophie has always loved dog and we can see her eyes light up everyday she comes to work “it really is my dream job”. You can find Sophie keeping our pack entertained with new and fun games, training and of course providing abundance of hugs to our happy pack. In her spare time she likes to relax and take to the hills for adventures with her companions Blacky and Pebbles. “Blacky is a Spaniel cross and Pebbles is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. They are crazy but we all make a great team”. Sophie is also a qualified canine first aider.
Lyn began working with Dog Days in 2017 after leaving Pawcasso where she worked as an assistant groomer for over 10 years. During her time at Pawcasso she worked with numerous breeds including more challenging dogs who would require reassurance…as we all know the groomers can be scary! Lyn decided she wanted to move into other areas of dog care and hasn’t looked back since. With her natural handling skills she has been an excellent addition to our pack. Lyn is owned by Border Collie Ben who is the second love of her life, next to her daughter.
Steph has been working with Dog Days since 2015. Steph really is the life and soul of daycare and always making sure our pups are having as much fun as possible whilst in Doggy Daycare. After working with the family business she knew a change was needed and could anything be better than working with dogs! Steph worked with Dog Days to expand her knowledge in this industry making her the wonderful handler she is today.
Heather joined the Dog Days team in 2016 and our dogs just love her! Heather is one of our full time handlers and loves noting more than working with our pack to make them the best possible pooches. Heather always had dogs in the family from Westies to Lab’s and knew this was her dream job from a young age. She often looks after her dog-niece – Coco the yorkie..we aren’t quite sure who loves who more! Heather has completed her canine first aid course and her in house training from Dog Days. Heather is working with Dog Days to continue her expanding her knowledge in this field. – “I have always been an animal lover, the joy they bring is like no other. Having a job where you can meet so many different breeds and personalities is amazing
Dean has been with Dog Days since our very first day.
